Polk County School Board Members Scheduled to Listen to Architectural Presentation for New Projects

Please be advised more than one Polk County School Board member may attend a meeting to listen to architectural presentations for upcoming construction projects at Eastside Elementary, Chain of Lakes Elementary and Sikes Elementary. The meeting will take place on Tuesday, June 5, 2012 at the Jim Miles Professional Development Center located at 5204 U.S. Highway 98 South in Lakeland. The meeting is scheduled to begin at 9 a.m.
Below is a list of the projects up for bid:
- Eastside Elementary- 16 classroom additions, new cafeteria, remodel existing cafeteria & increase staff parking
- Chain of Lakes Elementary- 22 classroom additions & new drive (car rider pickup)
- Sikes Elementary- 23 classroom additions
Principals attending the meeting are advised to arrive at 8:15 a.m. to discuss the scoring matrix.
